Hyperliquid

Hyperliquid HYPE, has recently attracted renewed attention from traders and investors, reflecting heightened market interest. Technical signals suggest a mix of short-term volatility and emerging bullish patterns. Meanwhile, the platform is advancing innovative initiatives aimed at reshaping token launches and ecosystem growth.

HYPE surged to $32.36 on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, reflecting a 1.74% increase as traders reacted to new governance developments. Trading volume jumped to $438.82 million over 24 hours, up 27.99%, while the seven-day gain reached 22.56%, signaling strong market activity and investor engagement.

HYPE Reclaims 200-Day SMA Trend Signal

Crypto analyst noted that HYPE recently cleared liquidity above $32.34, resetting market positioning. While the token temporarily dipped below the 200-period simple moving average (SMA) on the four-hour chart, the RSI remains above critical levels, suggesting downside risk is limited unless trendlines fail.

Analysts see a potential retracement toward the low-to-mid $20s if selling pressure persists, but the absence of a confirmed RSI breakdown reduces the likelihood of a sustained collapse. Despite short-term caution, medium-term indicators point to growing bullish momentum.

HYPE has reclaimed its 200-day SMA, widely regarded as a key trend signal, while the RSI has broken above a descending trendline and remains above 50, reflecting increasing buying pressure. Price action has formed higher lows following previous sell-side liquidity sweeps, often interpreted as institutional accumulation.

Similar patterns are observed in Jupiter (JUP) perpetual contracts, where tight consolidation ranges and base-building structures indicate gradual absorption of supply, reinforcing a cautiously optimistic outlook for select DeFi tokens.

Analysts suggest that shallow pullbacks could provide potential re-entry points for trend-following participants, as long as HYPE maintains support above key demand zones.

Introduction to Hyperliquid’s HIP-6 Proposal

Fundamentals were further strengthened by Hyperliquid’s HIP-6 governance proposal, which enables permissionless token launches through Continuous Clearing Auctions (CCA).

According to Hyperliquid Daily, the system allows projects to raise USDH over a one-week auction, automatically seed liquidity via HIP-2 pools, and minimize manipulation risks.

Developer James Evans explained that HIP-6 adapts continuous clearing auction mechanics to Hyperliquid’s central limit order book, providing fairness and efficiency. Funds are escrowed until settlement, and penalties prevent spam bids or coordinated price swings.

Analysts suggest that HIP-6 could attract projects from ecosystems like Solana and Base, supporting deeper post-launch liquidity and enhancing HYPE’s market structure.
