A new era of non-custodial trading has arrived, and ChangeNOW is at the forefront. The latest 2026 industry report from Swapzone has scrutinized eight major swap providers, and the results are definitive: ChangeNOW leads the pack in both Fixed and Floating rate execution speeds.
The report highlights that while many platforms can offer one or the other, ChangeNOW demonstrates “dual-rate competency.” In the Fixed Rate category, where platforms must absorb the risk of volatility, ChangeNOW achieved a 1-minute execution time for SOL/USDT, compared to an 11-minute industry median. On the Floating Rate side, the performance was even more dominant, with ChangeNOW consistently completing swaps in under 60 seconds across multiple cross-chain routes.
Taken together, that’s a 10 to 12x advantage on fixed rates and up to 45x on floating numbers that would be difficult to explain without meaningful differences at the infrastructure level. The 2025 Swapzone report offered an early window into how this performance gap developed. That year, ChangeNOW’s technical team described an ongoing push to streamline internal settlement pipelines, integrate faster blockchain confirmation layers, and optimize liquidity routing to reduce the time between deposit detection and output delivery. The results then were a median of around 1.8 minutes, which is good enough for first place.
“Speed is a fundamental pillar of user trust,” said ChangeNOW’s Chief Strategy Officer, Pauline Shangett. “Our goal is to make a near-instant settlement for the non-custodial industry.”
For traders deciding between platforms, the 2026 report’s dual-category breakdown matters. An exchange that leads on floating rate speed but lags on fixed offers a different user experience depending on which product you’re actually using. ChangeNOW’s consistency across both categories suggests the performance advantage is structural, not situational.
