Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin announced on Saturday that account abstraction, i.e., smart accounts, will go live within a year with the Hegotia upgrade. EIP-8141 makes account abstraction native, eliminating the distinction between EOAs (Externally Owned Accounts) and contract accounts. This will create a UX revolution in ETH detailed analysis: Users will be able to transact without paying gas and prevent key loss with social recovery.

Frame transactions divide transactions into hierarchical frames. The main frame can contain sub-frames; each carries independent authorization.
